Approach

What We Believe

Although we are technologists and creative designers, we are consultants first. A ‘dev shop’ takes orders in the form of technical specifications, assuming that the problem is fully understood. We consult our clients on the most appropriate solutions.

 How this manifests itself

  • If the solution a client believes they want is NOT appropriate, we will advise the client that it is not appropriate
  • We do NOT estimate work or recommend solutions based on the revenue that we can realize from the engagement. Every solution that we provide a client must be appropriate and affordable.
  • If we can’t “knock it out of the park”, we won’t sign up to deliver it.
  • If a client doesn’t have the budget to reach the goals they desire, we won’t sign up for failure.
  • Maintainability of solutions is a primary consideration

We believe that effective communication is critical to creating the best solutions to business problems. We work closely with clients to identify the nature and scope of the business needs, then determine what technology and creative elements can best be put to use in solving problems in a way that is responsive, relevant, efficient, and forward-thinking.

We believe that cookie cutters are for cookies, and that one-size-fits-all doesn’t always fit. Bringing our substantial experience and intelligence to the table, we focus on creative solutions that fix problems, and will not promise quick fixes or out-of-box approaches that may create more problems.

We believe that team problems are a distraction to client needs. Because we have worked together for years and are together committed to high bar of quality and service, clients benefit from our ability to be high functioning, flexible, and adaptable from start to finish.

We believe that business analysis and project management can make or break a project. With clients, we focus on determining the most effective approach and scope, then decide on the most appropriate project management methodology, based on the needs of their business and the project.
